If anyone is having sleep issues in Windows 8.1 and the Asus Maximus VI Hero (or other ROG boards, I'm sure), go to Intel and install the LAN driver from them. Frankly, I think the issue has something to do with the AI Suite 3, which, I absolutely love, so am eager to find a way to solve this. By the way, I have tried leaving my Windows HomeGroup (a possible solution I found elsewhere) however, this does not appear to be the problem. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be all ears. Anyhow, I do not use my system as a server, nor do I have any scheduled tasks configured, so it certainly would be nice if the system could just do the sleep while I am away. It will enter and exit sleep with no problem, but it will not enter that state on it's own (i.e: at night while I am sleeping). I have the AI Suite 3 software installed, and it is showing a sleep timer of 2 hours on the default High Performance mode it shipped with.

The problem is that my computer never enters sleep mode. Hi ya'll, I've got an issue here that is driving me mad.
